  I normally don't post these kinds of events, I was thinking about how music changed, well for me anyway. I listen to the older stuff, its funny how when we were young, our parents would listen to the "Old Stuff' and we kids listened to the "Cool Music" right?  Now here I am in my parents shoes remembering where I was when I heard of monumental news.  My sisters, brother and I were all enjoying a nice summer day still out of school when the news broke that Elvis had died.  My sister collected books and news paper clippings from  the time this happened and I remember when the January ''Blizzard Of 1978" Elvis's rendition of "My Way" was playing on the radio.  I found it and wanted to share it as the summer is about to close.                      Elvis originally started out wanting to sing country music but the record producers at the time thought his music didn't fit country music standards.  To many of us he will remain "Th

                                   They are bringing a show to cable about "Houdini" now.  I remember the movie they made for TV that starred "Starsky And Hutch" Paul Michael Glaser.  I liked the movie very much, to me it was a romantic portrayal of  Harry Houdini and his wife Bess.  After all these years, I finally found it on YouTube and wanted to share it for everyone who remembers it.  Do you recall this IM Schizz.  It brings back a lot of memories, Love you so very much!  Enjoy

                                  Anymore, I have been enjoying the softer music on my car radio. It gives me a break from some of the songs I hear over and over on the rock stations.  When I say soft music, its jazz, classical or just easy listening.   I really enjoy reading IM Schizz's  blogs, they are a real comfort to me because it brings him here where I am for just a brief moment and that is nice.  It is like a cyber-hug over the miles or just a touch of his hand or him squeezes my hand to let me know that things are ok.  All of those things I have experienced from him .  I do miss them.  I miss him.  Schizz's written word, is sometimes witty, sentimental, informative and intelligent but always heartfelt.                                  As I was listening to the radio, I heard an old song from the seventies that I had forgotten by Phoebe Snow.  Well, like the song says "You're They Poetry Man".  That is what Schizz is to me.  I hope and pray his family is

                                  So far so good, my pre-testing went ok, everything looked good.  I will be going in for surgery Wednesday, August 19th, will find out the time Monday.  More Importantly, I pray you are doing ok.  Don't hear from you much anymore, so I just wanted to check on you.  Hope all is ok in Amesbury, Ma and your family is well.  Please take care of yourself, Love you so very much!                    Thinking back on all the songs I remember listening to, there are a couple songs of romance that I haven't mentioned that topped the charts in the seventies.  I was at the age of ten and thought at the time they were "Icky Love Songs".  When I got older, they made more sense to me.  I thought you might enjoy these.   Remember these songs IM Schizz.
