The Heart's Music Can Heal

      I hate roller-coasters, my kids love them...well here we are on the one that is called weather.  Tomorrow according to The National Weather Service In Norman Oklahoma  who has placed us on a moderate risk of severe storms and possible tornadoes, is going to be a major weather day..there's some news I don't like, in some ways looking at this from a "Weather Watcher" it makes for an exciting day, its just I hate the slightest risk of tornadoes.     Norman, Oklahoma was the very place they started with forecasting weather on a grander since the first Tornado Outbreak.  I learned about this Weather Service from my Grandpa Havens.  I think so much of his interest was inspired from being a farmer.  He also seemed "In tuned" with the weather,being struck by lightning about three times.  When I was a little girl, grandpa was a HAM radio operator and had a weather radio.  That is more than likely why I love those radios so much..well you know Stephen, any radi

   Hi Stephen!,         This time I finally got to the computer before the kids do.   Even though we have a weather system coming through to give us a slight risk of severe storms tomorrow, it still keeping us in a warm pattern.   Been cooler today and yesterday.  It really made me chuckle, the weatgher band said it would be colder....we got into the nineties, I guess the term "Colder" had to be applied  Usually they say cooler.       You have been on my mind constantly, sure hope and pray you are doing ok and your family is fine.  Carianne is still "cracking the whip" when it comes to my diet and exercise, bother her and Jon have been great keeping me in line...so don't worry.  Tomorrow my boy will be 18..can't believe, so proud of him, I know his dad would be too.       You know if it wasn't for you, my dad wouldn't be here now to share a special bond to his grandson, its like daddy had filled a little of that void when Jeff died.  I know I have

   Hello Stephen,           Hope and pray you are doing ok and everyone in Amesbury is fine, all the family is good.    This has been some week carting around Carianne, we had to try and pick up Crystal from Washington Courthouse , we ran into detours and decided to abort the trip and come home.  I was so tired out, I made several wrong turns but Cari and I made it home safely.  To make a very long story short, Crystal made it home ok, a friend of her mothers picked her up.  You see , Crystal went down here to spend a few days with her friend that lives there.  Well this friend also ditched her without a way home..never again.   Earlier that day, I went to my Bariatric weight appointment and nutrition class...that was so nice,  I had to kill some time between appointments, so I took the fitness trail around Mc Connells.  I really enjoyed that.  I seen a whole family of squirrels cross in front of me, that was so cute.  I was good I walked the whole mile!   I thought it was nice that they named the trail after Dr. Mc Connell and his wife Peggy.  They must have been a real nice couple with gret devot
