You Would Think The Blues Would Melt In This Weather

   Planted eight tomato plants today and applied for a job at least four or five places.  Hope something turns up somewhere, we are struggling something fierce now.  If I could ask for some thoughts and prayers, I'd be really grateful, thank you so such !
   Dad was down yesterday and a few guesses why, my brother and his family are still behaving the same, I guess we all need prayers, don't sure hope everyone is ok there Schizz and you all had a fantastic day.
My nephew Scott, God bless him, he always tries to lighten the mood with laughter, He'd make you laugh, I am sure Stephen, just can't be blue around him for long.
  I know you always lifted my spirits Stephen...Its nice to have that sort of sunshine around!

The old barn that Grandpa and Great Grandpa Havens built, I not sure who is sitting with grandpa up there on the wagon, its either, mom, Aunt Billie Or Aunt Janet.  The old barn still stands between Grandpa and Grandma old house and mom and dad's.  I choose this picture because I can remember those hot summer days (like today) bailing hay and putting it up.  The hay always smelled so sweet..I love that memory, hope you enjoy it too!

        Hello Schizz   Hope you are having a good day hon, its cold here, snow flurries have fallen along with rain.  I know that's nothing compared with what you all have had to deal with a few weeks ago, so I won't complain.   Went to my weather spotter class last night.     It was a good turnout, I noticed quite a few families there. I couldn't get Carianne to go with me and Jon had to work, so I went alone.  Compared to the Weather Spotter SkyWarn class I went to back in 1993, it was 100% more informative and helpful and that in itself was great because it was good then.  I had some problems though because my hearing garbled so much of what the instructor said, I was trying to stay awake.  Luckily I could read and see enough to understand what they spoke of.  So much of my hearing is tone, so many tones I can't make out or hear in general.    Back in 1993, much of the information was on Tornadoes and strai...

Not A Complete Good Report..Feel Like Crying

     Boy do I have to make some drastic changes to my diet.  I really like my new Doctor at OhioHealth, she is very good and on the button.  The good news that I got today was my blood pressure was good, how I did that is beyond me, considering the holiday weight gain..oh yes, very distraught about that, I could kick myself a thousand times over.  My blood work came out good, that is a medical wonder.   Dr. Barnett put me on a "Dash" diet for hypertension and I am to use my exercise bike for ten minutes a day, low impact .  So I am spinning along with you Schizz , so glad I have my own, too self conscious to be in a group.   For the shortness of breath and winded, weight or stress of course, she is going to run a stress test on me..otherwise I am due for my mammogram and that darn colonoscopy...don't want that at all..you should hear the horror stories I hear about that, especially from dad, h loves to tell of mom's experience while laughing ...
