The Heart's Music Can Heal

I know after a while in the spring and summer, we start to take for granted all the wonderful chirping of the birds and there's times like these, when most of the birds fly south, just leaving a few types left for the fall and winter season, when I start to miss it.  Today started out warm but with the rain,it didn't take long for it to grow cold.  I wanted to share this because its so relaxing and cheerful.                  Hope you are doing ok Schizz , with all the Ebola scare going on, its sometimes difficult to feel like everyone is safe from it, so Please be careful and take care of yourself.  I think and pray for you , your family and folks you see there everyday in Amesbury.                  Love you all very much, most of all you Schizz, God Bless and Keep You All!

                              I know your favorite ice cream is vanilla, not sue if you are a cake person but ice cream is just as good.  I have been thinking about how special your name is and how special this day is.  I wish the kids and I could be there.  You are so busy, so I hope you take some time out for yourself.  I always want to show you how much I care and love you.  That's why I try to write you everyday.  Just never want to take you for granted.  I know there would be  many candles on your cake as mine is this year but I look at it as how many wishes we have , instead of years.             When news is discouraging, music helps chase off the blues.  Today's music is somewhat different than it was when I was a girl.  Love songs in light rock or pop were always PG.  Today's rating for some of the popular music should have " soap"  taken to them to clean them up..       Back in the seventies, I remember listening to those "Yucky" love songs.  Like the song I have posted tonight, I would always turn the radio channel when ever it would come on.  I always "Channel Surfed " my little transistor radio, most of the time I'd break the tuner because I would wear it out.  I remember my Grandpa Havens doing his electronic surgery on it.  I recall it was a "Soundesign" he took it apart, and replaced the broken string that operated the dial with a piece of string he had in his toolbox, it worked like a dream after that.  Those were the days.        Now that I am getting older, I can understand what those old songs

                                          Seems like sickness is over taking must of the world right now.  Staying optimistic isn't easy.  I know, my little corner of the world is more peaceful, I guess.   Got good news when I went to the doctor's today, my blood pressure, heart and lungs are going good.  I even got a flu shot, finally.  I know what is making me feel poorly, just female stuff.                                            I think about how you are feeling, I know I worry a great deal, can't help it, I'm just concerned with everyone I love, you know that.  You know how special you are.  Hope and pray everyone is well.  I say it every night because I do care.  Hope that you had a good day.            Boy is it cold and wet today, been feeling under the weather the last couple days.  That isn't fun when I have to run errands in town, Like I did yesterday.  I was waiting in the drive thru at the bank , when the lady ahead of me car decided to quit.  She got out to tell me so I could get into the other line.  I felt so bad for her knowing how many times "The Car Woes" have haunted me.  I told her I understood how she felt.  She had a two year old little boy in the back seat.  The bank teller came out and  gave him some suckers.  A gentleman jump started the car for her a little later after that.                      I got thinking about how cars have changed, before fuel injection, remember when we had to put our foot a bit on the accelerator to start the engine...ah boy I hated that.  I remember getting stranded at church with my sister and dad had to come out. You know in those days "Flooding The Engine" was real easy to do.  We waited on dad, of

                                   Hi Schizz, I wanted to write again while my computer is actually working right to wish that you have a good day tomorrow.  I remember hearing the song I posted first time when I worked for Kathy's Gift Shop in downtown Delaware.  I worked for some great people, especially my manager ,She was yet another role model for me.                                   Other than running the register, waiting on customers and gift wrapping, I had to take "Windex" and clean the shelves were the fragile gifts sat.  They kept the radio station "Sunny 95" on the speakers.  Back then the station played modern music, of course for the time.  I heard this song many times taking the gifts off, cleaning and putting them back.  Hope this story made you smile.  Please have a good day tomorrow.  I am thinking about you...Love you so much!
