The Heart's Music Can Heal

                                                                 Sorry I haven't written for a couple days, seems that pressing events have been happening left and right.  So much has been happening, seems like something has been happening to people I know.  This is the first time I have been able to write, my son took a break from the computer to watch "The Walking Dead" so I took the opportunity.                                                                 My classmate and friend Barb, lost her mom today Elaine Reiner , my mom knew her and Dr. Reiner.  My brother's mother-in-law fell down the steps and had to have four stitches in her head, so thoughts and prayers are with them all!  Some Palm Sunday..huh?                                                                I found this all out when the kids and I went over to my folks for dinner today.  Will be going over there for Easter too.                                                               Hope and p

                                                                        Good morning Stephen, hope you are doing fine this morning and everyone there are well too.  Cold today and it will be colder tomorrow but it is going to warm back up, such is spring right?   Thinking about you this morning sweetheart, I am sure you are enjoying a good cup of coffee, hoping you are taking the time out for a descent breakfast .                                                                        Nothing new here to talk about, all about the same but that is better than bad news.  Feeling up to doing m artwork again, all the sinus trouble is gone! I pray that you haven't been ill, you know me, how I worry about you darling.  They show images of Florida and key west on the commercials, now why didn't they show those nice aqua waters back when it was in the minus digits.  It doesn't seem too exciting now that spring is coming..oh well.                                                    

                                                            Hi Stephen, how's my Schizz doing today?  We are getting rain again today, water everywhere. Mud is no fun.  Haven't checked the weather map today to see how things are in Massachusetts, hope it isn't too bad there, still be careful on your trek home!  Wanted to write you to say " Hello, I love ya!" to hopefully give you a smile during the day.  My daughter is at track practice until 5pm today.  They will have their first meet the week after spring break, which starts this Friday until Easter.  My son is doing better in school, thank you for keeping them in your thoughts.  I wanted to let you know how they are doing.                                                           Trying something different with a whole chicken.  I stuffed it with brown and white rice, fresh pineapple w/juice, mixed with brown sugar and put it in the crock-pot to roast.  So far it smells good, I'll have to let you know ho

                                                                      Hello sweetheart hope you had a great Saturday, it was nice here with temps up in the sixties.  Sure was nice but my yard looks terrible, just reminds me how much yard work I got to do..yikes!  My son is doing real well at his job, so proud of him!  My daughter got her music in choir for the trip to New York, seven songs, some in Spanish, German, Arabian and English.  She said she is excited about it.                                                                     It had been a typical Saturday for the kids and I ,went out car shopping for my son but no luck yet.                                                                         Which is more maddening, the start of round ball/basketball or another winter storm huh?  At least March Madness is a good thing!  I bet you have been watching that Schizz...and its Friday, can't beat that!   Feel a touch better this morning, my daughter stayed home from school because she didn't feel well this morning.  I have to coat myself in vapor-rub, not my pick for fragrance.. but it works to break this yuk-up.   Drinking tea and juice.                                                                        They had a story on the news where Burger King was coming out with a new perfume..no joke ...burger fragrance... due to come out April 1st, that sounds questionable to me.  Either way, how strange is that, here many people don't like to smell like a dinner,especially those who work at a fast food place.  Somehow smelling like a "Whopper" sounds so wrong on so many levels!           

                                                        I would guess living on the East Coast and Massachusetts, you would get used to seeing the ocean, the marshes, sandy shores and lighthouses losing there luster especially during the winter months.  It would prompt you to seek those warmer destinations in the  parts that people go were there are tanned sun-kissed bodies, the air is warm all year round, the sand sparkles with the heat of the sun and the water is aqua blue.  I can understand that completely.                                                        Its funny that living in Ohio, I have no real dreams of going to those places, oh I admit when the temps are in the minus digits, Florida and Hawaii sure sound real good and the palm trees look inviting.  Oddly though my thoughts tend to wonder towards the summer days in your Massachusetts, Stephen, and the beaches/shores.  Even as a little girl, I just never had a taste of those vacation spots like where you have visited re

                                                           I know I am writing late again, why break a habit right?  Hope you had a great Laetare Sunday today.  My son had to borrow the car to go in to do some paperwork, so the kids and I went over to my folks and got to see them, my nephew and my sis.                                                          What a busy day, mercy, just when I catch a break something else comes up here at the house.  My son had a concert band contest today, came in second.  My daughter is having a couple of her friends over today and her practice ran over because it was picture day yesterday.  It was miserable yesterday, it rained all day long.  Hate driving in the rain. Yuky and muddy, so glad the sun came out today.  Keeping the house is a nightmare, wiping dogs feet and keeping shoes clean.                                                          Saturday is always chore day, ya know, that is always a fun time..laundry..oh well.   Hope you are doing ok and things are going good for ya.  Worried about you , praying that you get home safely.  If you are already home, please get some rest .  I am sure getting things settled in is a hassle .   Wish I was there to give you a nice shoulder rub, along with a hug and kiss too!!  Massages are wonderful, h

                                                               Not sure of the time difference in Costa Rica, its the afternoon here and wanted just to remind you how much I love you sweetheart!  Hope you are having a great day.    The sun is out and its almost 60 degrees, but muddy, you know how the spring is.  I know its not officially spring but with the temps being that good, can't help but place it a week early.                                                                Thinking about you of course, that is always pleasant !!                                                        I know its real early this morning, hope the day was good and you didn't over do it too much!  I bet you all had a hard day getting things done.  Thinking about you darling so much, please get some rest and just be careful today.                                                        My son had his physical and checked out ok to work but his blood pressure was a little high which has got me worried.  The doctor told him he needed to drop about twenty pounds, can you believe my son is six-foot?   So I told him maybe he needs to be more active at school because he does watch what he eats, we all have since everything with my daughter and my gall-bladder.  His problem is the soda, I told him if I can give it up, he can.  My daughter had us both beat on that, she has never touched the stuff at all ever in her life.   All of us are exercising now, my daughter has had her brother and I beat on that for a long time too.                                                            Been having a hard time getting back on the computer, my son has been on it before he played in concert band tonight and after.  The kids did a wonderful job tonight wish you could have seen them, wish I could had taped it for you but the camera was charging.   Tonight was foggy, I was feeling a little drowsy, so I had my son drive, his sister and I home.  It was just me in the audience from my family.  Mom and dad have trouble driving at night, everyone else had to work.  My brother never comes with his family anyway, no surprise there.                                                         I was drawing in some strange looks as I was sitting alone, eventually it filled in around me but I felt odd.  You would think after all these years I'd be use to it.                                                              Hope you are having a good day today and the weather is nice there in Costa Rica.  Most tropical I am experiencing right now is drinking my grapefruit juice, its raining here and in the 50's ...wow, wasn't sure if we would ever see those temps again.
