Thirty Seven Years Ago Today.

  I normally don't post these kinds of events, I was thinking about how music changed, well for me anyway. I listen to the older stuff, its funny how when we were young, our parents would listen to the "Old Stuff' and we kids listened to the "Cool Music" right?  Now here I am in my parents shoes remembering where I was when I heard of monumental news.  My sisters, brother and I were all enjoying a nice summer day still out of school when the news broke that Elvis had died.  My sister collected books and news paper clippings from  the time this happened and I remember when the January ''Blizzard Of 1978" Elvis's rendition of "My Way" was playing on the radio.  I found it and wanted to share it as the summer is about to close.
                     Elvis originally started out wanting to sing country music but the record producers at the time thought his music didn't fit country music standards.  To many of us he will remain "The King Of Rock And Roll"
