Thinking About "Boston"

   It was the band out of the mid seventies that I made a connection with.
   Playing for the first time together, Boston was able to send their debut album soaring.
  I think about the old band and how over time what some of the old members were doing.
  To me there wasn't such a blow as Brad Delp losing his struggle with depression.
  Going into town last weekend , I learned of yet another loss to the legendary band, Sib Hashian , the drummer .
He passed away during his performance on a cruise as part as the "Legends Of Rock" tour. He was 67.
   Time I know vexes all of us as we grow older with it , the thought of his passing and how he was doing something he dearly loved is in itself a peaceful thought.  We can all say that is the way it should be.
  So, I just want to share the songs that " Boston " played together that made these men a part of so many lives, including this one.

Didn't Want To Say Goodbye Again

Yesterday was a very hard day. My daughter-in-law took Patch and I down to the emergency animal hospital in Delaware because my kitty wasn't doing very well. Earlier this week, my kitty Patch had slowly not eaten since Monday. For the last four months his weight had dropped, even though he was eating very good. I tried in vain with different methods of bulking him up. Even his water intake was normal an d his stools looked healthy. So wasn't overly concerned because his was an old kitty. This week changed, he decreased his eating and drinking habits and his skin started to turn yellow, almost indicating liver failure. Through it all, he remain his loving self. These past two months has be awful, just on January 3rd , my beloved little dog, Scooter died at the age of 12 from congestive heart failure. Together Again Until Days Ends We Go Our Separate Ways.

                                                   Havens Sisters Reunion, another year over.  Gosh it was good to see everyone, sadly there were some absentees from my cousins and my brother and his family.  My sister's boys couldn't make it but all and all, a good turn out.  Sure was a pretty day with nice temps all around. How Will March Come In ?

  My mom taught us that either March will come in like a lion and go out like a lamb OR come in like a lamb and go out like a lion.  It really does that if you stop and think about March's weather. Typically Ohio Severe Weather Season starts in April but some of our worse weather has come in March.  My dad talked about helping clean up The Radnor Tornado when he was in The Ohio State Highway Patrol.   It is often referred to "The Palm Sunday Tornado Outbreak " which happened in April 11 at night which was  the most dangerous time because nobody could see it.  Radnor is a small farm town in northern Delaware, County.     As dad told it, he and his partner "Fitz" were on patrol that night.  As they drove down the back road, the twister went across the road behind them, bouncing the back end of the cruiser.  That story always sends chills down my spine.  Of course The "Super Tornado Outbreak" April 3,1974, I remember some.  It a...
