Another Old Friend
Hello Stephen, hope and pray you are doing fine and all the family is well. Been warm here in Ohio, this has been a strange year with the weather.
Jonathan is an official Olentangy Graduate, so now he's got to go through his graduation ceremony and his party.
I knew he could do it, couldn't be any prouder of him. Thank you for always keeping him in your thoughts and prayers, it so very much appreciated!
Yesterday
Three people signed up to take my drawing class but no one showed up. That was a big disappointment.
Been feeling a little down on myself, my family has been coming down hard on me. That was what I had for mothers day.
I start to get more hours and unfortunately, I have to go in a couple hours the day of Jonathan's party. It's early enough where it won't effect the time. They can't find anyone else to do kids club.
It's funny though, I was getting things ready for my class last night and this guy comes up to me , he's got this look on his face.
Asks if I remembered him.
It took me a little bit, turned out it was a guy I worked with at Big Bear twenty five years ago. I did a picture for him.
Believe it or not, he still has it.
He really hadn't changed too much.
He told me he never married or had any kids, then joked how few white hairs he had.
I can't say that he has matured too much because he pretty much is the same, only maybe not as shy.
I think he noticed how much I had though, not only physically but personality wise.
Well, with everything that has happened in my life, I suppose I have.
All and all it was sure nice to see him and here how his family was doing.
He's the first person I've seen from when I worked at Big Bear for a long while. The ladies I worked with, I lost track of them shortly after Carianne was born.
Gosh, that's the second friend I've bumped into that I haven't seen in years.
I wonder if they come in threes too.
Well Stephen, always praying that things are good for you. Like so many times, you are in my thoughts, please always take care of yourself!
Love to everyone
Love and prayers to you
Sally
These songs get a lot of air play when I'm driving home from work.
This one I added because I feel a little blue
Simply, I miss you Stephen
