Ray Stevens - "The Cannonball Run Opening"

One of my favorite movies of all time. The fact that Ray Stevens sings the title is awesome as well. Today I have been posting a great deal on my blog. I haven't been posting too much over the past few years because of my health fighting with depression and anxiety. Its tough going through anxiety, if you battling anxiety and depression. It is my hope that these blogs are helpful. For me especially, listening to music is comforting. I love classsic rock and pop. I do like serveral different types of music as well, but my favorite will always be the classics. Recently, I have been talking to a therapist from Syntero in Lewis Center, Ohio. Im vey grateful for that and for my kids, who have helped me through these difficult times. When I began blogging sereral years ago, my kids were very young. Its hard to believe now that my son is married and working as a mechanic in Columbus, Ohio. My daughter, who suffered with a eating disorder at 13 and still suffers with depression and anxiety, graduated from Ohio Wesleyan College and is now working in a clinic helping those with eating disorders in Columbus as well. I am very proud of them. Anyway, I probably be posting some more posts today, enjoy Had to sneak some Fords in here

Weather Spotter

        Hello Schizz   Hope you are having a good day hon, its cold here, snow flurries have fallen along with rain.  I know that's nothing compared with what you all have had to deal with a few weeks ago, so I won't complain.   Went to my weather spotter class last night.     It was a good turnout, I noticed quite a few families there. I couldn't get Carianne to go with me and Jon had to work, so I went alone.  Compared to the Weather Spotter SkyWarn class I went to back in 1993, it was 100% more informative and helpful and that in itself was great because it was good then.  I had some problems though because my hearing garbled so much of what the instructor said, I was trying to stay awake.  Luckily I could read and see enough to understand what they spoke of.  So much of my hearing is tone, so many tones I can't make out or hear in general.    Back in 1993, much of the information was on Tornadoes and strai...

Not A Complete Good Report..Feel Like Crying

     Boy do I have to make some drastic changes to my diet.  I really like my new Doctor at OhioHealth, she is very good and on the button.  The good news that I got today was my blood pressure was good, how I did that is beyond me, considering the holiday weight gain..oh yes, very distraught about that, I could kick myself a thousand times over.  My blood work came out good, that is a medical wonder.   Dr. Barnett put me on a "Dash" diet for hypertension and I am to use my exercise bike for ten minutes a day, low impact .  So I am spinning along with you Schizz , so glad I have my own, too self conscious to be in a group.   For the shortness of breath and winded, weight or stress of course, she is going to run a stress test on me..otherwise I am due for my mammogram and that darn colonoscopy...don't want that at all..you should hear the horror stories I hear about that, especially from dad, h loves to tell of mom's experience while laughing ...
