The sun struggled to shine yesterday, it was so gloomy and it rained all day today. I wish the kids and I went to Uncle Frank's memorial service but it was so crowded that mom and dad were the only ones that went from my immediate family. Aunt Billie, my cousin Haven and Aunt Janet went. I talked to mom yesterday and she was pretty tired but said the service was really nice. They played his music and even displayed his guitar. The service was completed with full military honors. Mom and I were both kinda disturbed by Uncle Frank choosing to be cremated, but he and my Aunt Bonnie wanted that and both were placed inside of the urn in accordance to their wishes. I told mom that I don't think I could stand having an urn with a loved one inside the house, it world bother me too much but everyone is different. Finding Time To Say " I Love You "

During the rush of the day and other obligations needing attention, its nice just to stop and let those around us know how much they are loved. I believe it is always something that needs to be said and something everyone needs to hear. After all, it was Christ who taught us to love one another, that way those around know we belong to Him and we are from Him. " I Love You " brings happiness , so many ways to say it and so many ways to show it. I never let my kids get out the door for school without hugging them, giving a kiss on the cheek and say those wonderful three words. If I am visiting my parents, sisters and brothers, the kids and I always give a hug and kiss and tell everyone "I Love You." It goes with every phone conversation to any one of my family members, never ending with reminding them how they are loved so... I know Sir Anthony S is a very busy man, so ...

April 3rd and 4th will always be marked for some good things in many people's lives but on these days in 1974,they brought moments of fear and terror for many states during the super outbreak. I have very few memories of those days. I only recall how rainy it was waiting to board the buses that day. For the people of Xenia the F5 Tornado forever remains in the memory for those who lived through it. Even though two times over, they have gone through tornadoes, the nightmare of 1974 still leaves a tremendous scar. Living in Ohio, you can't go through the springtime without keeping an " eye to the sky". Ohio has so many obstacles that block a view of an approaching storm. Living and growing up on a farm, I remember looking to the west-northwest, over the barn and trees, when a severe thunderstorm was coming.
