My Fiftieth Came A Little Early
I knew something was up this past Saturday, my sisters and I decided that we should have the Thanksgiving get together the Nineteenth.
Boy I was so surprised and tickled when I walked in the door.
They had "More Than A Feeling" playing with a "Gone With The Wind " theme.
You see , over the years I collect ed The dolls from Franklin Mint and bought the movie.
I remember coming home from work (Big Bear) and had the following day off, so I made up some popcorn and stayed up watching it while everyone was asleep. Dad never forgot that.
Scott , my nephew you know, he made a loop of old photographs of me, I'll have to show them to ya Schizz. They found the picture of us kids in the old Falcon Station wagon. I remember you kids rode in a Ford Falcon too.
Jennie , Vickie and the kids worked hard on the party. I really appreciated all of it. I'm going to share some of the things they did on Facebook so my cousins can see but wanted to share this with you first Stephen. I miss you so much and always feel like you are a part of me.
My sister made a paper doll, made it up like Scarlet O Hara in the movie..with my face..
Today I got cute and made up myself with dark hair and such ..I laughing about that.
Then they put cut out's of my face on a gone with the wind calendar. It was funny.
I had fun, got to see my great nephew Brendan, who going to be a brother....so my sister going to be a grandma again.
Still worried about mom, they never did get back to her what was going on with her leg. She said she was feeling OK.
Dad was his ornery self.
Pat has decided to finally marry her guy. Dad was teasing Carianne that she will probably have to be a bridesmaid.
Pat wants us to go with her and Kizer, her man, to Indiana, so they can get married there. She wants her aunt to see it. Her aunt Jenny is in her nineties. I write and send her cards when I can.
It's been a whole lot of things going on, I wanted to write you Stephen Anthony.
I love you so much and miss you everyday. Hope and pray everyone is doing fine.
