The Snow Is Pretty From A Distance

   Since I have been feeling under the weather and trying to heal this rash, which some days looks better while others, like today it appears worse.  I went to the doctors , she thought it was a glove to glove allergic reaction, so she called a prescription in for a strong creme to put on it.  I am hoping it will go away, if not I wonder if it will scar?  Even so I have been going through my artwork and doing some on the computer. Its not the greatest, but I really have been enjoying it.  This morning it started to snow again and for a long time I thought it looked really beautiful, so I painted a bird sitting on a limb in a middle of a gentle snowfall.  It kinda reminded me of that song Anne Murray sang that mom loves to sing with.  I hope and pray all is well in everyone little "Neck Of The Woods"

Weather Spotter

        Hello Schizz   Hope you are having a good day hon, its cold here, snow flurries have fallen along with rain.  I know that's nothing compared with what you all have had to deal with a few weeks ago, so I won't complain.   Went to my weather spotter class last night.     It was a good turnout, I noticed quite a few families there. I couldn't get Carianne to go with me and Jon had to work, so I went alone.  Compared to the Weather Spotter SkyWarn class I went to back in 1993, it was 100% more informative and helpful and that in itself was great because it was good then.  I had some problems though because my hearing garbled so much of what the instructor said, I was trying to stay awake.  Luckily I could read and see enough to understand what they spoke of.  So much of my hearing is tone, so many tones I can't make out or hear in general.    Back in 1993, much of the information was on Tornadoes and strai...

Not A Complete Good Report..Feel Like Crying

     Boy do I have to make some drastic changes to my diet.  I really like my new Doctor at OhioHealth, she is very good and on the button.  The good news that I got today was my blood pressure was good, how I did that is beyond me, considering the holiday weight gain..oh yes, very distraught about that, I could kick myself a thousand times over.  My blood work came out good, that is a medical wonder.   Dr. Barnett put me on a "Dash" diet for hypertension and I am to use my exercise bike for ten minutes a day, low impact .  So I am spinning along with you Schizz , so glad I have my own, too self conscious to be in a group.   For the shortness of breath and winded, weight or stress of course, she is going to run a stress test on me..otherwise I am due for my mammogram and that darn colonoscopy...don't want that at all..you should hear the horror stories I hear about that, especially from dad, h loves to tell of mom's experience while laughing ...
