What Will I Be Doing On Valentine's Day.

  Its nice on these cold days having a warm holiday like Valentine's Day.  What will I be doing on this day, well the same thing I have been for the last seven years, staying home with the kids.  Its ok, we usually have fun watching movies together and just enjoying each other's company.  Many couples will be exchanging many things and roses will be sold out from many flower shops.  Red, Pink, Purple will dominate the color on this day.  As a kid, I remember making those Valentine's Day boxes for school, so we could exchange cards.  You always hoped yours was the prettiest.  My children experienced  those days as well .  I think when you get older and don't really have a sweetheart around, you just enjoy the day as being a happy one.
  I would love to spend time, putting my hair up, dawning a beautiful dress, accented with jewelry that sparkled in the dimmed lights to spend a evening in a man's arms.  I can close my ares and dream about those days.
 Snuggled up in a warm blanket in my PJ's with a hot cup of tea will have do again this year.  I hope everyone has a loved filled and blessed day

Weather Spotter

        Hello Schizz   Hope you are having a good day hon, its cold here, snow flurries have fallen along with rain.  I know that's nothing compared with what you all have had to deal with a few weeks ago, so I won't complain.   Went to my weather spotter class last night.     It was a good turnout, I noticed quite a few families there. I couldn't get Carianne to go with me and Jon had to work, so I went alone.  Compared to the Weather Spotter SkyWarn class I went to back in 1993, it was 100% more informative and helpful and that in itself was great because it was good then.  I had some problems though because my hearing garbled so much of what the instructor said, I was trying to stay awake.  Luckily I could read and see enough to understand what they spoke of.  So much of my hearing is tone, so many tones I can't make out or hear in general.    Back in 1993, much of the information was on Tornadoes and strai...

Not A Complete Good Report..Feel Like Crying

     Boy do I have to make some drastic changes to my diet.  I really like my new Doctor at OhioHealth, she is very good and on the button.  The good news that I got today was my blood pressure was good, how I did that is beyond me, considering the holiday weight gain..oh yes, very distraught about that, I could kick myself a thousand times over.  My blood work came out good, that is a medical wonder.   Dr. Barnett put me on a "Dash" diet for hypertension and I am to use my exercise bike for ten minutes a day, low impact .  So I am spinning along with you Schizz , so glad I have my own, too self conscious to be in a group.   For the shortness of breath and winded, weight or stress of course, she is going to run a stress test on me..otherwise I am due for my mammogram and that darn colonoscopy...don't want that at all..you should hear the horror stories I hear about that, especially from dad, h loves to tell of mom's experience while laughing ...
