Favorite Christmas Songs

I promised myself I wouldn't start playing Christmas Music early but between work and waiting my turn on the computer, I thought I would get started on my favorite Christmas Music and share it with everyone.  Thanksgiving is next week and this month seems to be going quickly.  I do want to wish everyone love peace and joy as we start this Holiday Season.  We sure can use those so much anymore.  Time gets away from us and stress dominates our lives a lot of the time.  Happy Thanksgiving to all and be careful out and about, remember there's only one "You" in the world!
This one is for my dad, he likes 'Norman Rockwell" but his all time favorite Artist is "Currier and Ives" I love these videos because of Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole and Josh Groban and the Beautiful Winter Prints that make the perfect match for Christmas season!
One of the first albums I can remember my playing on the turntable was Elvis Presley "Blue Christmas". "Merry Christmas Baby" wasn't on that album (I just think its a cool song) Anyway, the album was actually my older sister's "Everyday Like Christmas" is a lovely song and as well  "Mama Liked The Roses" featured on the same album.  The first Christmas album Elvis recorded.
Remember what we first loved about the "Holiday Season?"     Naturally of course Linus knew the real meaning of Christmas didn't he?   The Peanut Gang are the best and it wouldn't be  special for any season without them!

I have saved the best for last, Christmas can mean many things to many people and what makes it special to them but to me, Christmas will always mean "Perfect Love"  Christ.  These songs are the ones that have brought me to have a closer walk with my creator, strengthening my faith.  Whatever a person's belief is, the overall meaning is love and peace.  I hope it brings a smile to your heart!

Weather Spotter

        Hello Schizz   Hope you are having a good day hon, its cold here, snow flurries have fallen along with rain.  I know that's nothing compared with what you all have had to deal with a few weeks ago, so I won't complain.   Went to my weather spotter class last night.     It was a good turnout, I noticed quite a few families there. I couldn't get Carianne to go with me and Jon had to work, so I went alone.  Compared to the Weather Spotter SkyWarn class I went to back in 1993, it was 100% more informative and helpful and that in itself was great because it was good then.  I had some problems though because my hearing garbled so much of what the instructor said, I was trying to stay awake.  Luckily I could read and see enough to understand what they spoke of.  So much of my hearing is tone, so many tones I can't make out or hear in general.    Back in 1993, much of the information was on Tornadoes and strai...

Not A Complete Good Report..Feel Like Crying

     Boy do I have to make some drastic changes to my diet.  I really like my new Doctor at OhioHealth, she is very good and on the button.  The good news that I got today was my blood pressure was good, how I did that is beyond me, considering the holiday weight gain..oh yes, very distraught about that, I could kick myself a thousand times over.  My blood work came out good, that is a medical wonder.   Dr. Barnett put me on a "Dash" diet for hypertension and I am to use my exercise bike for ten minutes a day, low impact .  So I am spinning along with you Schizz , so glad I have my own, too self conscious to be in a group.   For the shortness of breath and winded, weight or stress of course, she is going to run a stress test on me..otherwise I am due for my mammogram and that darn colonoscopy...don't want that at all..you should hear the horror stories I hear about that, especially from dad, h loves to tell of mom's experience while laughing ...
