Beautiful Healing Relaxing Music Long Time Guitar&Piano 08


    Watching my dad yesterday, I saw a little melancholy in his eyes along with surprise.  He was happy and yet sad.  My son was away at his band contest in Cincinnati, Olentangy took second place out of 16 entries.  He called his grandpa to wish him a happy birthday while everyone was still at the party.  I think that helped his mood.  I have to admit myself that I am so happy to still have my dad here, but sad that he is older.  I think as kids our parents are just "ageless" after all they will always be mom and dad.  Schizz I know you miss your folks as I know all you do.  After all, nobody knows us better than our parents.  I cry a little for how blessed I am to have my mom and dad but I also cry for you knowing that yours are gone only from sight, but remain in spirit.  
     I needed a little renewal of the spirit within me today, I hope and pray that the music I am sharing right now brings that light of healing to everyone tonight.  Love you all!

        Hello Schizz   Hope you are having a good day hon, its cold here, snow flurries have fallen along with rain.  I know that's nothing compared with what you all have had to deal with a few weeks ago, so I won't complain.   Went to my weather spotter class last night.     It was a good turnout, I noticed quite a few families there. I couldn't get Carianne to go with me and Jon had to work, so I went alone.  Compared to the Weather Spotter SkyWarn class I went to back in 1993, it was 100% more informative and helpful and that in itself was great because it was good then.  I had some problems though because my hearing garbled so much of what the instructor said, I was trying to stay awake.  Luckily I could read and see enough to understand what they spoke of.  So much of my hearing is tone, so many tones I can't make out or hear in general.    Back in 1993, much of the information was on Tornadoes and strai...

Not A Complete Good Report..Feel Like Crying

     Boy do I have to make some drastic changes to my diet.  I really like my new Doctor at OhioHealth, she is very good and on the button.  The good news that I got today was my blood pressure was good, how I did that is beyond me, considering the holiday weight gain..oh yes, very distraught about that, I could kick myself a thousand times over.  My blood work came out good, that is a medical wonder.   Dr. Barnett put me on a "Dash" diet for hypertension and I am to use my exercise bike for ten minutes a day, low impact .  So I am spinning along with you Schizz , so glad I have my own, too self conscious to be in a group.   For the shortness of breath and winded, weight or stress of course, she is going to run a stress test on me..otherwise I am due for my mammogram and that darn colonoscopy...don't want that at all..you should hear the horror stories I hear about that, especially from dad, h loves to tell of mom's experience while laughing ...
