Been A Strange Day

   I wrote out a tribute to Murphy on my Facebook page, everyone has been so wonderful to express their concern.  Been an off feeling day .  Yesterday after the kids got home, Jon and I went out to my folks to bury Murphy out by Haley who I had when Jeff was alive, mom and dad took her after Jeff died because I could only have one dog at the time.  Jon had a very difficult time dealing with Murphy's death.  It surprised me how hard he took it..somewhat, I knew he was close to Murphy, especially after his dad died.  Mom came out and helped us find a good spot and Jon lovingly carried Murph out.  Murphy is under a beautiful pine tree by the field.
   I guess all day just feels empty getting use to his absence.  Daisy and Scooter are getting closer to all of us now.  They are really affectionate dogs.
   Some probably find it silly that I carry on so about losing pets, they do however become a big part of life.  In a way other than their companionship, they watch out for us and provide us entertainment with their almost human nature.  Got to travel done this road of life, might as well enjoy them along the way.
  Hope and pray Stephen that you are doing fine and taking care of yourself, got to ask to make sure you are behaving correctly..lol

Weather Spotter

        Hello Schizz   Hope you are having a good day hon, its cold here, snow flurries have fallen along with rain.  I know that's nothing compared with what you all have had to deal with a few weeks ago, so I won't complain.   Went to my weather spotter class last night.     It was a good turnout, I noticed quite a few families there. I couldn't get Carianne to go with me and Jon had to work, so I went alone.  Compared to the Weather Spotter SkyWarn class I went to back in 1993, it was 100% more informative and helpful and that in itself was great because it was good then.  I had some problems though because my hearing garbled so much of what the instructor said, I was trying to stay awake.  Luckily I could read and see enough to understand what they spoke of.  So much of my hearing is tone, so many tones I can't make out or hear in general.    Back in 1993, much of the information was on Tornadoes and strai...

Not A Complete Good Report..Feel Like Crying

     Boy do I have to make some drastic changes to my diet.  I really like my new Doctor at OhioHealth, she is very good and on the button.  The good news that I got today was my blood pressure was good, how I did that is beyond me, considering the holiday weight gain..oh yes, very distraught about that, I could kick myself a thousand times over.  My blood work came out good, that is a medical wonder.   Dr. Barnett put me on a "Dash" diet for hypertension and I am to use my exercise bike for ten minutes a day, low impact .  So I am spinning along with you Schizz , so glad I have my own, too self conscious to be in a group.   For the shortness of breath and winded, weight or stress of course, she is going to run a stress test on me..otherwise I am due for my mammogram and that darn colonoscopy...don't want that at all..you should hear the horror stories I hear about that, especially from dad, h loves to tell of mom's experience while laughing ...
