Wishing You A Wonderful Memorial Weekend

  I am feeling much,much better today.  Sorry I have been posting so much of feeling poorly.  So I just wanted to post something positive!
   Been real warm these past few days .  I seen rain up in your area on the weather map.  We have another chance of rain today.   We got a couple of downpours yesterday.   Like monsoon season...lol.   
   It was cute, Jon took Cari to meet grandpa and grandma Wells at Bob Evans for Carianne's birthday.   The kids had a ball with mom and dad.
  Crystal came over on Carianne's birthday and stayed until Friday, as you could imagine..I was the chauffeur. .my poor Ford.
  Funny, the girls and I checked out Alum Creek Beach...scary people go there,one thing is for sure,if you want to see a lot of flesh,it's a good place...me, I'll pass.
  The girls and I went hiking around the dam.  I lagged behind because I felt bad,just seemed like it was in my back and around.  The girls found a stick I could use to walk with..,boy that helped a lot!
   The next day, I went to pick up Crystal' s boyfriend Noah and went out to Delaware Beach.  All the kids went out into the water and had no problem....I mean it was almost 90 degrees out...I went in and waded in...to me it was too cold.  So instead of swimming, I did some some leg aerobics and then got out..oh well..darn it.  I love to swim.

Today is a breather,  tomorrow Carianne's marching in Powell for the parade, Jon is working but before he does, we are going to mom and dad's for a cookout.  My Nephew Randy,his wife Julie and my great nephew will be there.
  Julie really has Randy New Englandised.   Randy is going to do a fish fry, New England style!
  Scott his brother isn't a fish person,so he is grilling hamburgers, hotdogs and bratwurst .  Dad isn't a fish person,so that is to his delight.

Weather Spotter

        Hello Schizz   Hope you are having a good day hon, its cold here, snow flurries have fallen along with rain.  I know that's nothing compared with what you all have had to deal with a few weeks ago, so I won't complain.   Went to my weather spotter class last night.     It was a good turnout, I noticed quite a few families there. I couldn't get Carianne to go with me and Jon had to work, so I went alone.  Compared to the Weather Spotter SkyWarn class I went to back in 1993, it was 100% more informative and helpful and that in itself was great because it was good then.  I had some problems though because my hearing garbled so much of what the instructor said, I was trying to stay awake.  Luckily I could read and see enough to understand what they spoke of.  So much of my hearing is tone, so many tones I can't make out or hear in general.    Back in 1993, much of the information was on Tornadoes and strai...

Not A Complete Good Report..Feel Like Crying

     Boy do I have to make some drastic changes to my diet.  I really like my new Doctor at OhioHealth, she is very good and on the button.  The good news that I got today was my blood pressure was good, how I did that is beyond me, considering the holiday weight gain..oh yes, very distraught about that, I could kick myself a thousand times over.  My blood work came out good, that is a medical wonder.   Dr. Barnett put me on a "Dash" diet for hypertension and I am to use my exercise bike for ten minutes a day, low impact .  So I am spinning along with you Schizz , so glad I have my own, too self conscious to be in a group.   For the shortness of breath and winded, weight or stress of course, she is going to run a stress test on me..otherwise I am due for my mammogram and that darn colonoscopy...don't want that at all..you should hear the horror stories I hear about that, especially from dad, h loves to tell of mom's experience while laughing ...
