Working On A solution

  Hi Stephen,
            Pray you are doing ok and everyone there is fine too.  I am still feeling down,  Just wish I could see your encouraging smile and hear your reassuring voice right now, a hug from you would be wonderful!   Still plugging away at ideals, still not feeling the best but doing my workout on the bike and getting used to my diet.  Funny I got my flu shot but feel offish, I do know the shots are geared for the last years strain of bugs.  Stressing over things don't help either.
     I am working on positive thoughts, have to force a smile sometimes, you know that is not usually a problem for me, recently it has.
     I did promise you some amusing stories about The Holidays,  Carianne had me pick up her best friend Crystal must of the holiday, teenage girls roaming the house is a nightmare for mothers and older brothers.  The constant laughing and giggling was interesting but the best experience was when Crystal ended up at another friend's house in Washington Courthouse which is approximately the same distance Willard is from here.  Crystal was stuck because the girls mother got sick and it was Crystal's mom's birthday..so Carianne and I made the trek down there.....it wasn't a fun trip for me..didn't bother the girls.  I hate driving in Columbus on those darn interstates...yuk.  Carianne and I had to be a sight, an old woman  getting directions from a teenage girl with an IPhone..  I will say its better than a GPS.  We left at 3: 30 pm and got home at 8 pm, my back and bottom was numb.. Of course Carianne was sore, she grumbled about not wanting another car ride for awhile, see not only did we have to go get Crystal, we had to drop her off at her house.  Maybe I out to be a "Taxi" for Teenagers..feel like a taxi driver.
     My poor little red Ford is now training Carianne how to drive..I love spending time with her and Crystal and Jonathan when he gets a free moment...I joke with Carianne and tell her, she is adding more white hair on my head.

Not A Complete Good Report..Feel Like Crying

     Boy do I have to make some drastic changes to my diet.  I really like my new Doctor at OhioHealth, she is very good and on the button.  The good news that I got today was my blood pressure was good, how I did that is beyond me, considering the holiday weight gain..oh yes, very distraught about that, I could kick myself a thousand times over.  My blood work came out good, that is a medical wonder.   Dr. Barnett put me on a "Dash" diet for hypertension and I am to use my exercise bike for ten minutes a day, low impact .  So I am spinning along with you Schizz , so glad I have my own, too self conscious to be in a group.   For the shortness of breath and winded, weight or stress of course, she is going to run a stress test on me..otherwise I am due for my mammogram and that darn colonoscopy...don't want that at all..you should hear the horror stories I hear about that, especially from dad, h loves to tell of mom's experience while laughing ...

Knew It Was Coming

     Had a real nice day yesterday with Vickie, Jennie, Mom, Dad, Randy, Julie, Brendan, Scott and of course my two Carianne and Jon.      The breeze was blowing and it really felt good to have a cooler day for a change.  Today was sorta warm and tomorrow will be warmer yet with it reaching almost ninety.  So glad to hear its cooling off for the weekend and most of the week next week.      As it was, it was sunny and everyone seemed to be in a good mood, except dad.  He spend some time by himself and talked to us but he wasn't himself.   You know my dad Stephen, always has a smile and a joke at the ready, maybe his infamous terms for things at the tip of his tongue you know.    Finally, I asked mom why he seemed off.   For one, she said, for the last two weeks has been suffering with a "pinched" nerve, they have a better term for it as you know.  Its making it even harder for him to walk.  If I...

Weather Spotter

        Hello Schizz   Hope you are having a good day hon, its cold here, snow flurries have fallen along with rain.  I know that's nothing compared with what you all have had to deal with a few weeks ago, so I won't complain.   Went to my weather spotter class last night.     It was a good turnout, I noticed quite a few families there. I couldn't get Carianne to go with me and Jon had to work, so I went alone.  Compared to the Weather Spotter SkyWarn class I went to back in 1993, it was 100% more informative and helpful and that in itself was great because it was good then.  I had some problems though because my hearing garbled so much of what the instructor said, I was trying to stay awake.  Luckily I could read and see enough to understand what they spoke of.  So much of my hearing is tone, so many tones I can't make out or hear in general.    Back in 1993, much of the information was on Tornadoes and strai...
