Hello, I Haven't Forgotten You

    Hello Stephen,
             I finally got a chance to write again.  Seems like every weekend I am running my daughter around getting this or that done for school.  Jon went camping with his cousin problem was his cousin didn't tell his folks where he was going.  I was talking t his mom, we both came to the same conclusion "Teenagers"  the ones at 17 going on to 30.    I can remember doing dumb things like that in my twenties and still getting in trouble with my parents.  Its part of life I know.
           Hope and pray you are fine and your family is ok, "A Beautiful Palm Sunday" to everyone.
Its a cold one today.  I finally felt a little better today but now I getting a little bit of an earache...I noticed Jon was coughing tonight.  He froze, camping out.   The woes of spring weather yet again.
         I am thinking about you always and missing you!   I just wish I can see you and hear your voice, I can't tell you how much that would mean to me.   The kids hear me talk about you .
   Please have blessed day today, my thoughts and prayers are with you all, especially you Schizz, love you Stephen.

Not A Complete Good Report..Feel Like Crying

     Boy do I have to make some drastic changes to my diet.  I really like my new Doctor at OhioHealth, she is very good and on the button.  The good news that I got today was my blood pressure was good, how I did that is beyond me, considering the holiday weight gain..oh yes, very distraught about that, I could kick myself a thousand times over.  My blood work came out good, that is a medical wonder.   Dr. Barnett put me on a "Dash" diet for hypertension and I am to use my exercise bike for ten minutes a day, low impact .  So I am spinning along with you Schizz , so glad I have my own, too self conscious to be in a group.   For the shortness of breath and winded, weight or stress of course, she is going to run a stress test on me..otherwise I am due for my mammogram and that darn colonoscopy...don't want that at all..you should hear the horror stories I hear about that, especially from dad, h loves to tell of mom's experience while laughing ...

Knew It Was Coming

     Had a real nice day yesterday with Vickie, Jennie, Mom, Dad, Randy, Julie, Brendan, Scott and of course my two Carianne and Jon.      The breeze was blowing and it really felt good to have a cooler day for a change.  Today was sorta warm and tomorrow will be warmer yet with it reaching almost ninety.  So glad to hear its cooling off for the weekend and most of the week next week.      As it was, it was sunny and everyone seemed to be in a good mood, except dad.  He spend some time by himself and talked to us but he wasn't himself.   You know my dad Stephen, always has a smile and a joke at the ready, maybe his infamous terms for things at the tip of his tongue you know.    Finally, I asked mom why he seemed off.   For one, she said, for the last two weeks has been suffering with a "pinched" nerve, they have a better term for it as you know.  Its making it even harder for him to walk.  If I...

Weather Spotter

        Hello Schizz   Hope you are having a good day hon, its cold here, snow flurries have fallen along with rain.  I know that's nothing compared with what you all have had to deal with a few weeks ago, so I won't complain.   Went to my weather spotter class last night.     It was a good turnout, I noticed quite a few families there. I couldn't get Carianne to go with me and Jon had to work, so I went alone.  Compared to the Weather Spotter SkyWarn class I went to back in 1993, it was 100% more informative and helpful and that in itself was great because it was good then.  I had some problems though because my hearing garbled so much of what the instructor said, I was trying to stay awake.  Luckily I could read and see enough to understand what they spoke of.  So much of my hearing is tone, so many tones I can't make out or hear in general.    Back in 1993, much of the information was on Tornadoes and strai...
