Running On The Asphalt Alley

     Yeah, I made it in the daylight!  Hope and pray your day is going good Stephen.
Was over at mom and dad's yesterday,dad shared that years ago when they drove on US 23 it was called "Asphalt Alley".   This was before 23 became four lanes and when it was just US 23 and US42, US71 hadn't been put in yet.  So I guess I run on "Asphalt Alley", going back and forth from Delaware.
     Like I mentioned, Vick told me to check out "Ohiomeansjobs.com"  they help you find your nack for jobs, they help disabled folks and family of Veterans.  I took a practice math test and failed miserably.  So, I have to go up on it and use some keys to help me get better...not sure if I have that gift for math or not since I wasn't that great at math in HighSchool, that's kinda scary, but I am always willing to learn and try as hard as I can to do better..wish me luck.
    So if I write late again, it will more than likely be that I was taking test up on the website.

        Hello Schizz   Hope you are having a good day hon, its cold here, snow flurries have fallen along with rain.  I know that's nothing compared with what you all have had to deal with a few weeks ago, so I won't complain.   Went to my weather spotter class last night.     It was a good turnout, I noticed quite a few families there. I couldn't get Carianne to go with me and Jon had to work, so I went alone.  Compared to the Weather Spotter SkyWarn class I went to back in 1993, it was 100% more informative and helpful and that in itself was great because it was good then.  I had some problems though because my hearing garbled so much of what the instructor said, I was trying to stay awake.  Luckily I could read and see enough to understand what they spoke of.  So much of my hearing is tone, so many tones I can't make out or hear in general.    Back in 1993, much of the information was on Tornadoes and strai...

Not A Complete Good Report..Feel Like Crying

     Boy do I have to make some drastic changes to my diet.  I really like my new Doctor at OhioHealth, she is very good and on the button.  The good news that I got today was my blood pressure was good, how I did that is beyond me, considering the holiday weight gain..oh yes, very distraught about that, I could kick myself a thousand times over.  My blood work came out good, that is a medical wonder.   Dr. Barnett put me on a "Dash" diet for hypertension and I am to use my exercise bike for ten minutes a day, low impact .  So I am spinning along with you Schizz , so glad I have my own, too self conscious to be in a group.   For the shortness of breath and winded, weight or stress of course, she is going to run a stress test on me..otherwise I am due for my mammogram and that darn colonoscopy...don't want that at all..you should hear the horror stories I hear about that, especially from dad, h loves to tell of mom's experience while laughing ...
