A Very Nice Evening, Wish I'm Where You Are
Went over to my folks today, seeing there wasn't any threat of bad weather. The kids and I had a nice visit, dad was his usual ornery self. Mom, she was putting together another puzzle, my daughter helped her,my son was in the living room with my dad and my sister and I were in the kitchen with my daughter and mom.
Been feeling down tonight, worrying over my son's grades. They are very low. Biology and Geometry seem to have him struggling. I hope and pray he gets through it fine, so he is able to handle OGT, something required now to graduate. That has me really concerned. He must understand how important it is. Things sure have changed since we were in school...that is a phrase I have heard my parents utter when I was in school.
I miss having you encourage me through times like this. Encourage my son as well, as you have done before, I should say. How we sure miss that! I always think about it. How much strength you seem to give me through your kind, loving words. Words so positive to my son and daughter as well. You seem to carry a piece of us with you there, its a feeling that is overwhelming!
Hope and pray that you Sunday was a good one Stephen and that everyone is doing fine. Most importantly that you are taking care of yourself, you are loved so much! I love you so very much, so if the day tomorrow seems a bit hectic or trying, hope just thinking about that gives you smile! All my love, hugs, kisses and wishes that tomorrow will be a great day!!!!
