Good Evening Schizz, Thinking About You Tonight

    Jon is at work and Cari is at her track meet.  Wish I was spending the evening with you, all the time and all together.  Got done with my wood burning project.  Now its finishing the skirting and mowing the lawn.  Just feel a little down about not finding anything solid for a job, Struggling with keeping up with the bills is an everyday challenge, seems like there is more and more of folks like me.  Sure wish the best for everyone!
 I have to go in for n appointment with Mc Connell, have to get it made first though, left a couple messages anyway.
   I am still using my bike , stepper and exercise ball.   Wish I could just shake off the tired, drowsy feeling I sometimes get when I get up in the morning, might be I am getting more sleep.
    Sure hope you are doing ok and enjoying the warmer weather, seen where you all were getting rain there in Massachusetts.  It was cloudy today, the sun is out this evening,   Pray everyone is ok too
I am going to fill out more applications online tonight, prayerfully at least one will pan out.

Weather Spotter

        Hello Schizz   Hope you are having a good day hon, its cold here, snow flurries have fallen along with rain.  I know that's nothing compared with what you all have had to deal with a few weeks ago, so I won't complain.   Went to my weather spotter class last night.     It was a good turnout, I noticed quite a few families there. I couldn't get Carianne to go with me and Jon had to work, so I went alone.  Compared to the Weather Spotter SkyWarn class I went to back in 1993, it was 100% more informative and helpful and that in itself was great because it was good then.  I had some problems though because my hearing garbled so much of what the instructor said, I was trying to stay awake.  Luckily I could read and see enough to understand what they spoke of.  So much of my hearing is tone, so many tones I can't make out or hear in general.    Back in 1993, much of the information was on Tornadoes and straight line winds, this time around it covered floods.  The p

                                                                 Pray you are having a good week and everyone is ok.  I am always thinking and praying about you with much love Stephen, please be taking care of yourself!                                                                  Got to see Mary Beth today, helped her a little with her pets and helped her down off of  her porch steps, didn't take long before she was worn out.  It may sound strange but she did seem to look a bit better to me.  I know there will be days where that will happen, some days are better than others.  I like to think, just having a chance to see her, even giving her a smile, gives her spirit a boost, some encouragement that someone cares.  I am glad her sister-in-law is checking in on her too, they are close like sisters.                                                                  Mary Beth sure loves her little car, she does drive it still, back and forth between her houses.  They are just down

The New England Primer

                                                      Knowing that you are all getting a mix of wind, rain and snow , I thought I would share a fact I read  OUR DAILY BREAD publication for today's reading that I thought you might enjoy during all this unseemly weather.                                                    The New England Primer was published in the late 1600s.  Throughout the colonies that would later become the United States, the book became a widely used resource.                                                    This early American textbook was based largely on the Bible, and it used pictures and rhymes based on scripture to help children learn to read.  It also included prayers  like this one: " Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep.  If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take."                                                    In colonial America , this became a way that one generation was able to pass alo
